Why are your blog posts so positive?

That's a good and legitimate question.


If you just read the blog, you might think I'm a kiss ass because everything is "great" and my angle is to get an "in" with a restaurant or chef.


  1. I eat a lot of shitty meals, sometimes at really famous restaurants. I don't post about those because

  2. after COVID, I decided to no longer rip the bad restaurants. It's hard enough to make it in this business and I don't want to put anyone out of business, even if their food and service may be terrible. I used to call out lazy cooking and awful service, but no longer.


The blog is not meant to be a "service" to tell you which restaurants are great and which restaurants are bad.


It's made to praise those in the Industry who are are on the forefront of gastronomy, have perfected the art of hospitality and are delivering on all cylinders.


And if there's a major problem, I'm addressing it in real time at the restaurant, going to excruciating detail, and I'm not shy about it either.
