Single diners are often given the best seat in the house at Quetzal right at the pass. Most of the menu is kissed by fire in a chaos controlled kitchen (there's a lot of covers and a lot of volume). You'll eat damn well, and your clothes will smell oh-so-good when you leave.

Is that enough for one person? Pork al pastor with caramelized onion salsa, charred pineapple and homemade tortillas. Oyster mushrooms, crema poblano and ancho. A big-ass, creamy sweet potato with salsa de cacahuate. De-freaking-licious.
Not pictured: a lamb barbacoa empanada starter and coconut dessert.
When the eating is that good, it's ok to go a little (or a lot) overboard.
